Apache SOLR is the leading open source enterprise-grade search server, built in Java, utilizing the Apache Lucene search library.

This project is about combining these two best-of-breed technologies to enable state-of-the art features and performance to anyones Magento-powered shop.

The deliverables will be a Magento-extension as well as Apache SOLR configuration.
