It can serve up geographic attributes in XML for use in web mapping or analysis. It can ingest attribute data to automatically generate thematic maps or augment GIS databases. It supports input and editing of attribute data via the web. MapAttributes is an open source project that supports and extends the Geographic Linkage Service (GLS) standard from the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC).
