Duane Later wrote Blue Meanies From Outer Space, a Space Invaders derivative, in BASIC. There have been several remakes of the game for other platforms in recent years - this is not one of them. Blue Meanies Revenge is a sequel to the original game, again for the VIC-20 (or VICE emulator) but written in 6502 Assembly Language, and featuring new gameplay and extended functionality.
