Media Feeder is a web-based API for Windows Media Center that provides RSS feeds for all music, videos, recorded TV and pictures on a Media Center PC. These feeds can be subscribed to using a podcast client, making it easy to synchronize content onto portable media players. It also allows basic control of a Media Center PC by simulating button presses of the Microsoft Media Center remote control.

The main goals of Media Feeder are to:

Provide RSS feeds for all media on a Media Center PC. Simulate the functionality of the Microsoft Media Center remote control. Future development directions for MediaFeeder may include:

Provide HTML output similar to WebGuide Provide media streaming capabilities (ie. Live TV)
