Financial institutions typically offer downloads in various formats, none of which standardised.
MGC supports the following formats:

- ABN AMRO (Tab)
- Rabobank (ASC, CSV, ERI)
- Postbank / ING (ASC)
- SNS bank (CSV)
- Dexia bank (CSV)
- German Sparkasse (CSV)
- Citibank Canada (CSV)

New formats are added on request. MijnGeldConverter or MGC converts these formats into XML, OFX, or QIF, and these can then subsequently used to import into financial software.

End users are requested to go to the user forums on http://forum.sepher.nl (there are forums in Dutch and in English) for asking questions, getting answers, and for announcements of new versions etc.
