A simple player written in Action Script 2.0 which uses webcam to check if anyone is standing in front of the playing medium, and if someone is then it starts playing video/music. Camera sensitivity is set to register the movement like blinking and breathing but it can be changed by changing the motionlevel and timeOut values in "variable.txt". The location of a FLV or MP3 file can be changed in the same file. Should work on all platforms. Flash 9+ required.
I got this freelance job from a faculty colleague designer. He wanted to play an animation only when someone passes and stops near the projection. Until then it should be a still image.
It could be a good tutorial for basic web camera connection with flash, basic motion tracking, parsing text variables and movie clip button...
Ohloh computes statistics on FOSS projects by examining source code and commit history in source code management systems. This project has code locations but that location contains no recognizable source code for Ohloh to analyze.
