It has several large changes visible to the user and factors more under the hood. Several long standing "wishes" where completed, like metadata plugins running in the main thread, a metadata selector, sqlite based metadata cache, GObject based plugins and much more. (0 comments)

Coming hot on the heels of 0.15 comes the first stable release including fixed Mac OSX compiling, an assertion fix in the FLAC decoder, the split second "resume playback during pause" and a double free() on shutdown. (0 comments)

Finally, nearly 6 months after mpd-0.14 was released here is mpd-0.15 with many many new features and bugfixes.
