Bad Client/Server desing

Under some network conditions and, in particular on Mac OS X platform, the latest release (Nexuiz 2.4 and subsequent hot fixes) give a lot of problems.
The conseguences of a probably bad Client/Server desing are: a lot of lag, bad frame rate, bad client movement prediction, lost frags, and unability to hit enemies with your weapon.
Under Mac OS X, there are also problems with other aspects, like OpenGL GLSL shaders, that do not
