omvviewer is mainly a packaging project of the Linden Lab's Secondlife viewer, but it has become more than that with many additional feature and stability patches included with the viewer.

Its mainly aimed for Debian and Ubuntu packaging but it is hoped that it can also be used as a base for other Linux distro and even MS Windows.

The aim is to only use free and open source components whist maintaining a viewer that works on 32/64bit linux
