The specifications www.openehr.org
The Open Source Health Information Platform (OSHIP) is an implementation of the http://www.openEHR.org healthcare specifications written in Python/C. Uses the Zope Component Architecture http://www.ohloh.net/projects/zope3 and Grok https://www.ohloh.net/p/grok
But! OSHIP isn't limited to the openEHR model. It can be used to develop applications in concert with any information model or connect directly to any existing application in order to extend the capabilities and interface opportunities for that application.
OSHIP has several branches under development on Launchpad. Only what has been merged to the trunk is shown in this analysis.

OSHIP builds on an extensive set of specifications for healthcare information systems of all sizes. The focus of these specifications are to provide implementability, interoperability and computability in a world where these three do not typically exist.
Any serious health informations systems professional will give the specifications a serious review and realize that they have been developed over two decades, with a continuing eye
