Owigps is a mobile phone interface written in Java SE and J2ME (JME, Java Micro Edition).
The features of this project are:
Connects to assorted GPS receivers via Bluetooth. Parse NMEA sentences from a GPS receiver. Display NMEA information in a user-friendly interface. Communicate with a Leica System 500 sensor using the OWI protocol. Provide a user-friendly interface for OWI communication. Stream Ntrip data to Leica System 500 sensors over GPRS and Bluetooth. Allow position data to be manipulated and used (e.g. sent via SMS and logged). The final design must also be expandable for future applications.
