The goals for this project are as follows:

License Change to BSD (requiring a full rewrite) Written targetting php 5.2+ (potentially 5.3+ should the adoption rate warrant it) Remove Smarty (as the dependancy cannot be cleanly met) Utilize best practices in the design and implementation of the rewrite. Use pecl docblock tokenizer (when available) or userland libraries when not available. Add support for php 5.3 @namespace Better documentation on implementation and customization
