Pyparsing is a pure-Python library module for composing recursive descent parsers, using parse expression objects such as Literal, Word, Regex, etc., combining them with OneOrMore, Optional, and operators +, ^, |, and ~ representing And, Or, MatchFirst and Not. Numerous examples are provided, including SQL and search query parsers, arithmetic expression parsers, and HTML scrapers.
