What's this? We are building a free and open source software package called Rakontu ("tell a story" in Esperanto) to help communities (and organizations, groups, families) share and work with raw stories of personal experience for mutual understanding, conflict resolution and decision support.
Who's doing this? Cynthia Kurtz (who wrote Working with Stories) is the main creator and proponent of Rakontu; but she is hoping that lots of people will join her!
I want to join! GREAT! We need help from people with diverse experience (not just programmers!). To join us, join the Rakontu Google Group first, then ask to be added to the Code project.
Latest news (October 2009)Screenshots on the web site, beta testing groups neededI've updated the Rakontu.org web site with new explanations, screen shots, and white papers. I'm now actively soliciting beta test groups, and I encourage people to get their own Google App Engine account, check out the source from here and try it out. If you do, please join one of the discussion groups and send your feedback!
