revolutionBoards (Revolution Boards, rB, RB, Rev are other names) is a free forum program written in PHP primarily using MySQL as a database, although any other database with php functions is supported.

revolutionBoards features a robust internal structure nicknamed the Revolution Engine or the Kernel, it allows common functions such as skin management and database calls to easily called in an OOP Environment, The Revolution Engine allows quick changing of a database without modifing every single page.

revolutionBoards features a Simple, Blue Skin By Default, but is easily changable, The Admin Center comes with a similar skin and powerful editing tools.
