Simple AJAX With History v2.2.2OverviewSimple AJAX With History has been developed in 2009 by Maximilian Speicher. As of May 2009, it has been tested and works with Firefox 2 & 3, IE 7 & 8, Opera 9 and Safari 4.
Using Simple AJAX With History you can load the content of other HTML files asynchronously into multiple boxes on a "main" web page. Each state is saved in the browser history and can be bookmarked. It is also possible to determine which links shall be marked as active when certain pages are displayed in certain boxes.
The featured downloads contain one source code archive and one documentation file in pdf format.
What's new?v2.2: Even better protection against invalid URLs. Introduction of Regular Expression syntax. v2.1: Better protection against invalid URLs. Possibility to determine which pages are allowed to be loaded into which boxes. v2.0: Use more than one box per web page to display contents asynchronously. Determine for each link individually if and in which case it shall be marked as active. Use a wildcard at the end of a URL when determining in which case a link shall be marked as active. Change the document title when a link is clicked.
