The next beta release of the 0.3 branch is ready for download. This includes several bug fixes and tweaks. This release sees the addition of an optional toggle on systemLog that when set to true will cause the exception backtrace to be passed to the ... [More] errorHandler giving a very verbose output in the error logs when the system encounters an unrecoverable error. Very useful during debugging, not so useful in production. Default value is false, or off.

We are pleased to announce the first point release to the 0.6 branch. This release upgrades Smarty to 3.1.8 which fixes a number of issues with 3.1.4/5 and 6.

Please note that in Smarty 3.1.5+ it is no longer possible to assign variables through dynamic include calls.

A new version of Scorpio is now ready for download. This is the first release in the 0.6 branch and features numerous updates including Smarty 3.1.4, PHPExcel and phpMailer updates and a number of bug fixes.

A new release of Scorpio is now available. This is the first release in the 0.6 branch and includes a large update to Smarty. Smarty is now version 3.1.4 and this version breaks some compatibility with Smarty 2. All internal templates were previously ... [More] updated to use Smarty 3 syntax, however you should check your templates for deprecated syntax if using Smarty in the web layer. [Less]

First maintenance release of the 0.5 branch is now available. This is a small bug fix that includes an upgrade to Smarty 3.0.8 and a new distributor plugin. Download now from SourceForge.

First update and bug fix to the 0.5 branch is now available.

This is a relatively minor update with mostly bug fixes but it does include a couple of new items including a distributor plugin for setting a custom error handler in the MVC system and an update to Smarty to version 3.0.8.

The next version of Scorpio Framework is now available for download. This update, 0.5.0, sees a number of changes to the data access object generation. These objects are now built to use systemDateTime for any date fields and the utilityValidator for ... [More] object validation.
