Web site and source code migration

As a result of SourceForge’s hosted apps retirement, a number of changes have been made to SimpleID’s web site and source code management.

The SimpleID web site has been migrated from the SourceForge servers to a private ... [More] server. As a result, the URL for SimpleID’s web site has changed to http://simpleid.sourceforge.net/. Please update your bookmarks accordingly.

In addition, SimpleID’s source code has been migrated from Subversion to Git. Details on accessing the Git repository can be found in the downloads page.

Trac migration: Further update

Due to delays with Sourceforge’s migration of Hosted Apps feature, as well as performance issues with the interim Sourceforge-hosted trac, SimpleID’s trac has been moved again to http://simpleid.koinic.net/trac.

Content that were ... [More] missing from the original migration has now been restored, including access to source code.

At this stage, users will not be able to use their Sourceforge account to log in.

Trac migration

As part of Sourceforge’s closure of trac has a Hosted App feature, SimpleID’s trac has been moved to http://simpleid.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/trac.cgi.

At this stage only the wiki has been migrated. The rest of the trac features will be migrated soon.

User input in the log in page is not properly validated by www/filesystem.store.inc before looking for an identity file using the specified user name. This may lead to a directory traversal vulnerability where an attacker with write access to any part of the server can create an identity file and thus assert any identity URL the attacker can claim.
