Beautiful CSS Selection Engine

  by Mark Holtzhausen

I have found Sizzle to be blisteringly fast with support for almost all CSS3 selector types.

The license that comes with it also makes it easy to incorporate into larger projects.

I highly recommend Sizzle to anybody that has to do extensive browser-side DOM manipulation.
