Project Summary

The work basically is a surround sound piece that co-working with a space contain audio equipments to form an installation. The sound piece itself go surround and exploring the space. In the space of the installation there will be equipments for the audience to explore tracks of the surround sound piece. Contents of the surround sound piece will be recordings of human voices that presenting the written scripts. The script contents related to social and cultural issues with poetic representation. There will be 5 sound tracks with different contents put together in a 5.1 surround sound piece and each content will have chance to be dominant in the piece. The work would like to explore the power relationship of the soundscape and space. Through the content to express the linkages of sound and power. Finally the audience have their own agency to choose what they want among all tracks.
