Polaris (the name of a Triple star system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polaris), is a lightweight Java library aimed to be used with such SPARQL protocol compliant endpoint in a easy way. Polaris is intended to be used with a generic triple store as a JDBC driver is used with a relational DB.
