VMworld 2009 started yesterday in San Francisco and SpringSource has been an integral part of the show:
Rod Johnson was on stage with VMware CEO, Paul Maritz, for the opening keynote. Rod demonstrated some upcoming features of Hyperic HQ monitoring of virtual machines, STS tools for the cloud and, of course, Cloud Foundry.

It offers automation of common deployment blueprints and intelligent, SLA-driven resource allocation with automatic scaling and automatic infrastructure repair.
