SWF Object HelperThe Conceptswfobject4php aka SWFObject helper is intended to provide a standard PHP OOP approach for use of Flash .swf files in XHTML environment(s) in conjunction with SWFObject. The intent is to have Flash developers focus on Flash / Action Script and programmers focus on their respective work.

This way a single script source and methodology will allow Flash to be used with ease and efficiency on the web.

The Mantra"maximize the amount of code you do not have to write"

In other words, every time I had to use Flash I found the SWFObject a total time-sink for that part of my day. I was never invested in the finer points of the whole application. Instead I began writing this package to allow (me initially) to place Flash in under a minute, including script installation.

About the release...I consider this a late alpha version (first public release 0.9.2). Use at your own risk, but please send feedback! I would like to move the release forward. I have been using this script for quite a while with no issues.

The initial release uses the Dynamic Publishing. This allows for the use of params, vars, etc.

The future of SWFObject HelperIt is my goal to test, and release updates as SWFObject changes. These will go through an typical development cycle.

Later release goals:

Incorporate Static publishing option

Add the use of php __construct to decrease code required.

Notes on the repository usageI have included all elements that are part of the download package. Since there is more than enough room I chose to include them in the trunk.
