SyncEvolution

SyncEvolution synchronizes personal information management (PIM) data via the SyncML information synchronization standard. In Moblin it provides a complete SyncML client application which supports the system addressbook, calendar and tasks (both command line and GUI). Notes are also supported, but not used in Moblin. SyncEvolution is designed as a general-purpose infrastructure that can be extended to synchronize other kinds of data.

SyncEvolution has been an independent open source project for over three years before it was integrated into Moblin. Now development continues full-time as part of Moblin, with a focus on extending the functionality and adding direct device-to-device synchronization. The goal is to continue support of the traditional platforms(Evolution desktop,Maemo,Mac...).
