Transition from CVS to Darcs.

Thousand Parsec is changing the Revision Control System we use to track changes to our source code. We are
moving to Darcs - http://www.darcs.net/, which is much more modern and better suits our needs.
The source code has been moved already ... [More] , and the website will be moved soon. There will be a short period when
there won't be any updates to the website. This message might be the last change made to the website before
the change over to darcs for the website itself. The only possible change could be the next release some of
the python modules, depending on how things go. A news item will be posted when the change over has happened.

The Darcs repositories have the full history of changes made to our source, and all the tags that have been made.
Web CVS and anonymous CVS access might not be available for some time on the new site. [Less]

TPServer-cpp 0.2.0 released.

Tpserver-cpp continues to progress. As mentioned in the previous news, tpserver-cpp now has a MySQL backend

to the console. A few ... [More] bug fixes too.

TPServer-cpp 0.2.0 is on the downloads page and is on our SF downloads page too. The CVS module is
tpserver-cpp and the tag is
TPSERVER_CPP_0_2_0. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome.

Tpserver-cpp passes 10,000 lines.

I just though that I would show that things are progressing well. Tpserver-cpp now has 10164 lines of
code. Not bad for a solo effort. The large increase lately has been from adding a MySQL backend of
storing all the game items. And it's ... [More] not finished yet.

I would be very happy if should you would like to help out. There are many low priority bugs in the
TP bug tracker that would be
suitable for someone wanting to get into game server programming in c (there are many bugs
for the clients, protocol libraries and servers in both languages which a newbie could have a go at.)
