GoalThe goal of this project is to create an open-source, easy-to-use, robust and efficient Java API to TV.com. As much of the information available on TV.com as possible should be accessible though this interface.
Uses for this projectMany uses are possible for an interface to TV.com. For example it could be used to determine the title of an episode given its show name, season and episode number, or to list common actors between given shows, get related shows, etc... Media center applications could use this library to easily access lots of useful information for their users.
Current StatusThe library has just begun and fresh code is being worked on as you read this. However, no official release exists yet. The first release will occur once basic show information and episode lists are available through the API. I expect this to be available before the end of August.
The current trunk Javadocs can also be found here.
