uftpd aims to be a ftp daemon which can be launched by a desktop user to share a folder. A small QT gui lets you create user-pass pairs for login and select a folder. The TCP connection is implemented with QT's network library. uftpd can be compared with kpf (http server for desktop file sharing), but it will first be a standalone app.
