A Kepler workflow designed to automate the essential bioinformatic tasks from 16S rDNA contigs to biological interpretation and analysis. Programs that are bundled into the workflow include profile alignment using either Infernal or STAP, chimera checking with Mallard, OTU clustering and determination with OTUHunter, taxonomy assignment with STAP and then a variety of file formatting options to automatically generate results files using Unifrac, Cytoscape, Dendroscope, heat map visualization. Diversity statistics such as Chao1, Shannon, Rarefaction and rank-abundance are also automatically generated.

NOTE: The WATERS download to the left is a "stand alone" version for Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard) only. In order to use WATERS on another system, you will need to first follow the instructions in the NonLeopardInstall wiki page.
