Announcing the release of Wikka 1.1.6.5
This release is a maintenance release that includes no new functionality. The release addresses a couple of minor issues in 1.1.6.4, including:
Some PHP5 compatibility issues;
Cleanup of error and informational messages in several actions;
More robust cookie handling;
A simplified installer; and
Valid XHTML output.

Two new CAPTCHA anti-spam/anti-bot modules available
As of 1.1.6.4, Wikka now supports a modular plugin framework for user registration validation. Besides the two modules that ship with 1.1.6.4 (a “dummy” template module and an invitation code module), two new modules have been developed and are available for installation.
