Windbull is a small and experimental statistical wind analysis code written in C language. I don't prefer to call it a project, becasue it is a small code crowd for now. I plan to develop it until meeting your requirements and satisfiying myself.
It's capable of calculating wind histogram,cumulative frequency distribution, some statistical parameters like average, median, mode etc, wind direction frequency (aka windrose), windspeed frequencies according to direction, Speed duration curve parameters, speed and power entities, and much more stuff that i couldn't remember at the moment. This results can be calculated by daily,monthly and seasonal basis. Same time, you can extrapolate wind speed to any height that you wish and make sure you have the results above for a specified height.
Last words,It doesn't has a dependency to any specific library so you should compile it without any problem. I know that it's quite buggy, so i didn't give it a version number as well. But you can download source code and compile it for your needs. However, I wrote it on linux, so it may give you compile time errors if you try to build it on other operating systems.
Obviously, I'll be glad and appreciate so much even if you help me a little bit about compiling and testing on other platforms and bug reports if you came across. Please, don't hestitate contact me if you have any question or remarks about the windbull.
Thanks in advance;
