The purpose of this project is to create a software package that can be used to run Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rallies (a.k.a. Regularity Rallies), based on the ubiquitous Microsoft Windows platform. The software can be run on a laptop, CarPC or tablet.
Considering that so many people have a Windows-based laptop these days, it's surprising that there is no modern Windows TSD rally computer system available. There are a few older systems for DOS and Windows, but they are either not open source or not being actively maintained, or both.
TSD rallies are supposed to be an accessible and affordable form of motorsport, so it seems appropriate for there to be a freely available software solution.
