This month was especially busy for Wishcraft who again created couple of new modules: Genobio 0.13 (Alpha) and Lawsuit 1.05 (Beta), and updated several of his older modules: Spiders 1.06, X-Reaggregator 2.20. Also very busy were sinnedesign and Algalochkin releasing several new Themes. Thank you all!!!!
And we finally have some tangible designs for the new XOOPS Website Theme, and meaningful discussions.
The work is also going on the next release of XOOPS: 2.3.4. Trabis and Wishcraft have been very hard at work, and we should expect the first Beta release sometime next week.
Highlights of the last month:
XOOPS Innovation Award - for people who create something very unique and innovative for XOOPS. This time the award goes to Ruoyu SUN (insraq) from China for his innovative work on XOOPS China Website.

You can have as many forms and pages as well as categories as the database supports. Each page can have a customised form
associated with it where you can retrieve related information to do with the presentation of the case or issue you are seeking
clients on for legal representation.
There are other application for this module which can be easily cloned or change to suit other forms of paginated liaise within
your xoops site.
This is the beta release so please test and report any errors you are having.

the World Wide Web's Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)and its Extensible Markup Language (XML) as the mechanisms for information exchange. Since Web protocols are installed and available for use by all major operating system platforms, HTTP and XML provide an already at-hand solution to the problem of how programs running under different operating systems in a network can communicate with each other. SOAP specifies exactly how to encode an HTTP header and an XML file so that a program in one computer can call a program in another computer and pass it information. It also specifies how the called program can return a response.
What Can It Do for Me?
You can link with any soap-compliant system with complete w3c standard wsdl these will be completed in version 4.0 they are more just the abstract data layers of wsdl, they still need a dynamic mime type and other system written into them which the constructs are in place. You can transfer data between any sort tunnel through most of not all firewalls and poll your xoops platform from with another xoops or CMS or even things like .NET, Delphi and many other programming languages.
X-SOAP is the quick way for cloud computing, you can link your xoops platform with any other computer network with this module, plug-in have complete WSDL compilation code and allow for easy and dynamic deployment.
Whats New in this release?
The PHP SOAP has now been fixed, this will work with the native PHP SOAP as well as use nusoap if the PHP Extension is not installed.
