zbnc is a new cross-platform multi user IRC bouncer written in Delphi that will focus on reliability. It is being written by Michael "Zipplet" Nixon. It will include the lcore socket library and event engine which is a lightweight yet powerful OS abstraction layer.

This project is brand new so there are no downloads and nothing builds yet. Both windows and linux binaries will be released for convenience.
