Content Management Framework powered by Zend Framework is little more than a modular directory layout with additional useful components. The main difference is the introduction of an additional level in the project structure called 'application'. The advantage is the default separation of modules functionality to frontend (website) and backend (admin). Application divides controllers and views so you can add other applications like eg mobile with less functionality and lightweight layout.
