Re: Why do I have to put SimplicityPHP into the document root?

You don't have to create a virtual machine to use simplicity. Just configure a virtual host in apache. It should be possible in future versions to simply copy Simplicity into a sub directory but there are some issues relating to routing here that may cause some problems.

    Re: Developement Roadmap

    Well thanks for asking!

What I really need is a feature list of what you guys want to see in Simplicity. I will give you a listing of the things I am developing and how I see Simplicity going in the next 6 months or so, It would be great if ... [More] people could comment then together we can make a spec for the framework that we all want to work with. Then perhaps (if you feel up to it ) we could all start developing Simplicity and make something that can really compete with other frameworks and put back some innovation into an area of development that is sadly becoming over subscribed with very similar offerings.

I will post a new thread sometime in the next day or so and we can start the discussion.

    Thanks for the support!

    Re: Developement Roadmap

    yhea the old problem... TIME...

I think that every one of use (developers) have this issue..
Too many projects, too many ideias, but no time to do it. (yhea we need a job to put some food in the table)

soo antz, how can we help you?

cheers, and thanks for share your time with us!

Re: Why are you using short PHP tags?

    Hi there

The only reason is old habit. And all future versions will use normal php tags.

    Cheers

    Re: Developement Roadmap

    Hi there

    Is the project still maintained?
Yes it is, but as I have said in this post time has let me down, but development is still moving.

Who are the developers behind it?
Currently, just me. But as again I have said a few ... [More] times, I would love some help!

When are we going to see a version stable enough to be used for serious applications?
At the current rate of development it will not be soon, but I would like to think that by the end of the year we should see something in a significantly better shape than we currently have.

Hope that answerer your questions! Sorry for the late reply.

    Cheers

    John [Less]
