SquidGuard is a URL redirector used to use blacklists with the proxysoftware Squid. There are two big advantages to squidguard: it is fast and it is free.

* Progress bar when compiling blacklists.
* Full sed compliance for rewrite statements.
* Blocking of urls with hostnames.
