iReport NB 0.9.1 (for NetBeans) released!
The iReport Team is pleased to announce the new iReport release: NB 0.9.1.
This is the second version of iReport based on the NetBeans Platform. iReport is available as standalone application
... [More]
(based on the NetBeans RCP) and as NetBeans module for NetBeans IDE 6.0 .
See details on iReport NB 0.9.1 page!
http://www.jasperforge.org/jaspersoft/opensource/business_intelligence/ireport/page.php?name=nb-0.9.1
You can learn more about iReport for NetBeans here:
http://www.jasperforge.org/jaspersoft/opensource/business_intelligence/ireport/page.php?name=iReportNB
Download:
iReport standalone application based on NetBeans Platform:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=64348
iReport plugin for NetBeans:
http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=4425
About the version number
The iReport version is normally in sync with the shipped JasperReports version. In order to avoid confusion with the current version of iReport (that we still consider the preferred one for production environments) we decide to use a different version number approach: nb-x.y.z.
Until iReport for NetBeans will not completely replace the "old" version of iReport, we will increment this version number. Then (summer 2008) we will bring iR to EOL, and iR for NB will inherits the privilege to be released with the same JR version number. (0 comments) [Less]

Why 0.9.0?
iReport for NB is quite stable thanks to the great NB platform, but it does not provide yet a set of features offered instead by the current version of iR. To discover more about what are the implemented features and what is still working in progress, please visit this page:
