When you invoked a GWT application you were using what Google calls
hosted mode. Hosted mode is only used during development.
When in production, your application will be running in web mode.

I’ve mainly done this application by myself. I’ve used GWT and Grails and I am pretty happy with the developing
experience. An detailed developer report will follow.

MiniG is a webmail implementation with a GMail like user interface. It
is completely free software and is designed to work
with Cyrus IMAP servers.
MiniG uses a distributed architecture. Its GWT user interface comunicates with
a
onGWT.com just hits 800 entries. Nice milestone.
This is a slide extract from John Resig presentation. Even if I respect a
lot John for JQuery, I don't agree with him about what he thinks about GWT :
