After one beta, here is the final release of the 1.5.0 version. Main changes are described in the 1.5.0.beta1 release notes

PPA for gcstar development

I've just set up a ppa that will follow gcstar development versions for ubuntu, with all the suggested dependencies included. You can use this if you want to follow the svn version of gcstar instead of waiting for the stable releases. Right now it's ... [More] got the latest pre-release of 1.5.0 (with a few fixes since the beta 1 version), so if you've been having trouble with 1.4.3 or the 1.5.0beta, give it a shot and post your feedback. :D

I'll try and keep it so there's only functional relatively stable snapshots on there, but the usual warnings about beta software and everything definitely apply!
