Dolibarr ERP/CRM 2.7 has been released

The big focus of this version is production and exploitation. Most important changes are:

 

* Add a point of sale module * Add a help center * Enhance a lot of admin tools * Enhance installers to autodetect version and ... [More] sugest the upgrade process automatically.
DoliWamp and DoliMamp version that includes an installer for Windows or Mac OS X (with Apache, Mysql, PHP) is also available. Version 2.7 can be downloaded in the download area of Dolibarr web site:

The Dolibarr 2.7 beta is ready.

Features on this version is now freezed and version should be tested for the beta test. You can download this beta on the downod area. There is no particular package for this, you must use the CVS version ... [More] found in Download -> Development version as during the beta period, the development version is also the current beta version. Branches will separated after the release.

Please try this version and send your feedback on the Dolibarr forum.

New: module_speedfinder-0.4a

SpeedFinder adds a menu to quick search for a contact or a company by entering a few digits of the phone.

For example: your Dolibarr open in the Navigator and you receive a call from a customer or supplier.

    1. you see the ... [More] number of the caller (if your phone allows)
    2. Clicking on the menu of your SpeedFinder Dolibarr
    3. you enter 2 or 3 digits in the "Quick Search:: phone"
    4. list of names associated dynamically appears almost instantaneously (via AJAX)
    5. Clicking on the name to go directly to the page of your partner

The entire operation lasted less than 5 seconds (the time to pick up the phone) ... you want to "hello" a caller (calling him by his name) ... and detail the actions and current proposal is already under your eyes!

To avoid to share english and french languages, now web site www.dolibarr.fr and www.dolibarr.org are two separate web sites.

The www.dolibarr.org should now contains only english documentation.

Both web site have same look and content for the moment but they now live differently, so they will differs very soon...

Dolibarr 2.6.1 beta version is available. This version is just a fix release to solve minor bugs. You can install it over a version 2.6. No migrate process is required.

4 months after the 2.5 release, a new major version of Dolibarr is available. It's version 2.6.
The big focus of this version is the stabilization. This version is the version that had the largest debugging campaign. Many portions of code have ... [More] been removed or shared on that occasion. Imperfections due to native support of UTF8 for Version 2.5 have been corrected, and many languages added (even if translation is not always complete), such as Russian, Finnish, Norwegian, Romanian, German.
Many other changes and long-awaited features were added (about 50,000 lines of code and more, despite cleaning).
