Besides an extensive list of nifty features, Mindquarry 1.1 releases a stable and mature Open Source alternative to proprietary applications such as Microsoft SharePoint or Basecamp.

Highlighted features in Version 1.1:

The ‘time machine’ activity timeline allows teams to view older versions of files, Wiki pages and tasks as a first step toward an ultimate undo/redo for all team content.
The Interlink conveniently links to all files, tasks or other Wiki pages from within the Wiki. The link window also contains a new search option to find items to interlink.
Team partners can insert tables and images into Wiki pages as easily as inserting these files into office documents, allowing better visualization and structuring of ideas and new concepts.
Easy Tasks and Files Manager allow users to work with Mindquarry online or offline on a Mac, Windows or Linux operating system. At any time it synchronizes all files and tasks as soon as the user is back online.

Mindquarry was founded in the summer 2006 from 3 graduates of the Hasso-Plattner-Institute and develops an open source solution for better teamwork. Since August 2006 Mindquarry is the youngest portfolio company of the Potsdam Hasso-Plattner-Ventures. The company is located at the Hasso Platter High-tech Park, on the area of the Potsdam University campus.
