The Eclipse Graphical Modeling Framework (GMF) provides a generative component and runtime infrastructure for developing graphical editors based on EMF and GEF. The project aims to provide these components, in addition to exemplary tools for select domain models which illustrate its capabilities.

Epsilon is a family of integrated model management languages for tasks such as model navigation and modification, transformation, validation, comparison, merging etc. Epsilon can be used to manage models of different modeling technologies (EMF ... Epsilon also provides a number of Eclipse-based tools such as tools for code profiling and monitoring, an ANT-based workflow for defining complex chains of model management operations, an extension of the built-in reflective EMF editor (Exeed) that enables users to customize its appearence (icons and labels), and a multi-tab editor (ModeLink) that enables users to establish arbitrary links between different EMF models. The complimenting website helps to share and discuss drafts and experiences as well as to reduce manufacturing costs. Fritzing will essentially be an Electronic Design Automation software with a low entry barrier, suited for the needs of designers and artists. It will use the metaphor of the breadboard, so that it will be easy to transfer your hardware sketch to the software.
