The goal of the Creovel project is to encourage rapid application development. Based on the Rails approach, a variation of the classic MVC design paradigm, a 'model' manages business logic execution, the presentation logic resides in the 'view', and the 'controller' handles ... [More] the processes & responses to actions that may invoke changes on the model and view. Attention: Instead of using the Wiki refer to http://docs.creovel.org for user documentation. [Less]

My Personal Collection of scripts and reusable code.Currently, I'm working on creating a lightweight simple object oriented base class for Perl. I know there are a lot of different OO frameworks for Perl, however, they all seem pretty bloated. I just want the simple benefits of OO ... [More] programming with no strings attached. For the most part, I've accomplished the following... Encapsulated data only accessible via getter/setter methods A simple way to declare methods using Public, Protected, and Private access modifiers Inheritable Public and Protected methods Eventually, I'd also like to support these features integrated unit tests serialization/deserialization, marshalling/unmarshalling [Less]

CGI::Ajax is an object-oriented module that provides a unique mechanism for using perl code asynchronously from javascript- enhanced HTML pages. CGI::Ajax unburdens the user from having to write extensive javascript, except for associating an exported method with a document-defined event (such as ... [More] onClick, onKeyUp, etc). CGI::Ajax also mixes well with HTML containing more complex javascript. CGI::Ajax supports methods that return single results or multiple results to the web page, and supports returning values to multiple DIV elements on the HTML page. Using CGI::Ajax, the URL for the HTTP GET/POST request is automatically generated based on HTML layout and events, and the page is then dynamically updated with the output from the perl function. Additionally, CGI::Ajax supports mapping URL's to a CGI::Ajax function name, so you can separate your code processing over multiple scripts. Other than using the Class::Accessor module to generate CGI::Ajax' accessor methods, CGI::Ajax is completely self-contained - it does not require you to install a larger package or a full Content Management System, etc. We have added support for other CGI handler/decoder modules, like CGI::Simple or CGI::Minimal, but we can't test these since we run mod_perl2 only here. CGI::Ajax checks to see if a header() method is available to the CGI object, and then uses it. If method() isn't available, it creates it's own minimal header. A primary goal of CGI::Ajax is to keep the module streamlined and maximally flexible. We are trying to keep the generated javascript code to a minimum, but still provide users with a variety of methods for deploying CGI::Ajax. And VERY little user javascript. if you have changes you want to the code, send an email to the project owners and we'll add you to the project [Less]

psihttpd, or ψhttpd, is a very compact yet full-featured HTTP/HTTPS server written in highly portable C with optional isolated basic FTP functionality (for managing web content, etc.). It provides all the features a modern web server should provide, and no features that it shouldn't. ψhttpd ... [More] only speaks HTTP version 1.1, the current version of HTTP since early 1996, but does not refuse clients that use HTTP 1.0 for backwards compatibility reasons. ψhttpd also has a very advanced Dynamic Page Execution Engine (DPXE) which allows for: CGI, FastCGI, and SCGI Embedded Lua support More protocols (i.e. WSGI) added at run-time through Lua [Less]

Perl based themeable gallery. Written to easily and safety host and share pictures. The purpose of writing this app was that my friends nagged me all the time to make all of my photos downloadable after a party or whatever. The other problem with photo-sharing sites was that sometimes I ... [More] wasn't able to download my friends pictures also (as I want to put away their pics too, just in case :)) So I wrote a system where the admin could make a dir fe. "2008.011.27 Anilogue [Bandi's pics]" and give out a secret link where Bandi could upload all of his photos with a single click (SWFUpload driven upload), and the others also. At the end the admin give out the secret links to the galleries and everybody's happy (and could download the whole gallery with a single click on the "Download All!" link, which makes a zip from the photos).
