TurboGears was created in 2005 by Kevin Dangoor. Version 1.0 was released in early 2007. Development progressed to version 1.1, replacing SQLAlchemy with SQLObject and Kid with Genshi as default components. Version 1.5 is now based on CherryPy 3 instead of CherryPy 2. TurboGears Version 2 is a separate project based on Pylons instead of CherryPy. [Less]
