geGIS is an open source platform that allows you to manage your Geo Data using a standard browser. geGIS does aim to make simple GIS operations possible as a rich internet application (RIA). geGIS does not aim to replace existing so-called Fat-Client GIS applications. The underlying idea is ... [More] that geGIS should give organizations with limited budgets (including the majority of the Flemish, BE local governments) the opportunity to carry out simple GIS tasks. Another aim is that geGIS should contribute to the dissemination of geographical information throughout the organization, so that GIS data can be used on a much broader scale. [Less]

Web 2.0 is the kind of universal media platform that fuels the growth of human consciousness like no art form before it. When it comes to the viral proliferation of tyranny-shattering information, there is a fine art to the process of creating, expressing and distributing thought; Project Hack Life ... [More] is our drop in that bucket. As a division of The Legion Of Angels, our goal is to connect users with mind-expanding media, in the hopes that more of us will stand up and refuse the tripe broadcast by network television. Humanity as a whole is beginning to grow up and accept responsibility for our actions in the world; the days of "I didn't know better" are behind us. Green Power. Free Information. Political Accountability. Economic Unfettering. Transcendental Growth. Digital Wizardy. The Psychonaut's Elixir... The days of the Life Hacker are upon us; this library is a collection of code used to fight The War On Ignorance on the battleground of Web 2.0. Don't expect IE compliance here, when they become standards compliant, we will return the favor. [Less]

CthulhOS is a series of tools written in C and ECMAScript to support the concept that mobile applications are simply objects communicating over some medium (like maybe the Internet or something.) The core of CthulhOS is the Rlyeh Object Model (formerly known as the HBMOBILE Jowles Object Model.) ... [More] Rlyeh imagines "web applications" as object graphs running on one or more servers. We then create an abstract mapping between this object graph and an XML document. To access bits of the object graph, we PUT and GET XML fragments to the server using HTTP(S) using the XPATH location of the object in question as the URI. And because we're nutso about security, we also do interesting things like apply access control primitives (which are themselves represented externally as bits of the XML DTD.) We also provide the opportunity for confidentiality, message integrity and origin integrity through either the use of TLS or by applying digital signatures, cryptographic hashes and message authentication codes. Like many other "XML over HTTP" components, Rlyeh can be used by any language that can make a HTTP request and parse XML. However, the world is already filled with web browsers and WML clients on mobile phones, so the Oriab, Dylath-Leen and Ulthar sub-projects serve to provide tools for XHTML, SCG and WML clients.
