This is an open source project to replace toggleheadset for use with the Android 1.6 (donut) release. This widget fixes problems with the 3.5mm headphone jack HTC multi adapters on the G1 due to ... [More] android issue 2534. Toggleheadset worked great with Android 1.5 but stopped working on the donut release. I was able to find a workaround that works for my G1 and HTC 5 in 1 adapter. I was not associated with the original toggleheadset project... but I was sad (like you if you are reading this) when it stopped working. This is my first Android released project so there's much that could be better... in particular the icon sucks. If anyone would like to contribute a better icon please do.
