IntroductionIt is a Python script about APT system. With APT-ADD, it will be easier and lazier to handle your source lines and keys. And you can rebuild or recover your environment of packages quickly with it : ). EasierInstalling a software from a third-party source just in one command! ... [More] Example: sudo apt-add 'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/shutter/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main' 009ED615 shutter+ Of cource, if you want, you can also jostle more softwares ,sources lines or keys into one command. If APT warns that some keys are missing, it is terrible to manually fix them. With apt-add, you can just sent a command, 'apt-add -f', to system then the apt-add will fix those trials for you. LazierThe source lines or keys on websites sometime can't copy and paste easy.To overcome this problem, apt-add accepts fuzzy arguments, for ex., 'its my source line: deb http://moskyat.pixnet.net/blog jaunty main' or 'its my key: ABCDEF12'. It's always easier to save from many pastes. If you put source lines as arguments with '-f' in the end, you may bypass the source keys! It is great, isn't it? When you install software with apt-add (use the 'action' in suborders), apt-add will saves those actions that you inputted to a sources list. If you want to reinstall or cleanly-upgrade your system, you can rebuild your software quickly with these backups.
