Pallidum

Pallidum is a free (beer & speech) backup software. Its goal is to backup data as well as file metadata (permissions, ownership, extended attributes, forks, etc.) from any kind of filesystem to anywhere (hard drive, USB stick, NAS, etc.). Early development focus on ext3/ext4 sources.

KDar - the KDE Disk archiver

KDE Disk archiver is a disk-based archiving and backup utility. It can perform differential backups, which means that it can quickly store the differences between a recent full backup and the current state of your data. A sophisticated file filtering mechanism allows you to select which files and directories to backup or restore, and which files to compress. GWhere

GWhere allow to manage a database of yours CDs and others removable media (hard disks, floppy drive, Zip drive, CD-ROM, etc...). With GWhere it's easy to browse yours CDs or to make quick search without need to insert yours CDs in the drive at each once.
