Пользователи имеют возможность просмотра собственной статистики за выбранный интервал времени через web-интерфейс. При использовании basic-авторизации у пользователя имеется возможность менять свой пароль для squid через web-интерфейс. Администратор SqLim может просматривать общую статистику и подробную статистику по каждому пользователю, вводить ограничения на размер месячного трафика пользователя, при использовании basic-авторизации управлять списком пользователей через web-интерфейс. Настройки программы позволяют: использовать два вида авторизации пользователей: basic и ntlm. хранить информацию о доступе в интернет за произвольный период времени задавать опциональный список сайтов, для которых траффик суммируется не по полному имени домена, а по домену заданного (обычно второго) уровня, т.е. i36.odnoklassniki.ru, i51.odnoklassniki.ru не показываются отдельными строчками, а выводиться их сумма как odnoklassniki.ru иметь список пользователей, обладающих правами администратора, но без возможности изменять лимиты трафика других пользователей, их отображаемые имена, создавать/удалять пользователей и менять их пароли при basic-аторизации. отображать величину трафика в байтах либо мегабайтах Модули программы написаны на Perl и sh, поэтому теоретически программу можно заставить запускаться на любой платформе, где имеются perl, apache, squid, mysql и возможность запуска скриптов по расписанию.
