GNOME

The GNOME project provides two things: The GNOME desktop environment, an intuitive and attractive desktop for users, and the GNOME development platform, an extensive framework for building applications that integrate into the rest of the desktop.

CMake

CMake is a cross-platform, open-source build system. It is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files. CMake generates native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice, such as GNU Make, Visual Studio, and Xcode.

GNU Libtool

GNU Libtool hides the complexity of using shared libraries behind a consistent, portable interface. GNU Libtool ships with GNU libltdl, which hides the complexity of loading dynamic runtime libraries (modules) behind a consistent, portable interface.

Xfce (Core)

Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and low on system resources, while still being visually appealing and user friendly. This Ohloh project only contains the core components of Xfce!

xnoise-media-player

XNOISE is a media player for Gtk+ with a slick GUI, great speed and lots of features. Unlike Rhythmbox, Banshee or itunes, Xnoise uses a tracklist centric design. The tracklist is a list of video or music tracks that are played one by one without being removed. This gives you the possibility to ... [More] queue any track in any order, regardless if they are on the same album. The tracks can be reordered at any time via drag and drop. The media browser contains all available media in a hierarchical tree structure of the available metadata. It is easy to find a single track, artist or album by going through this tree or by just entering a search term. Pre Make Kit

The Pre Make Kit project is a toolkit providing a collection of tools aimed to ease a lot of stages in project development. It provides a scanner that generates template source components such as configuration file or makefile. It also provides a dependency checker that sets up templates files ... [More] depending on the system components (such as auto* tools or similar projects). For portability purpose, a BSD like install program is also part of the kit. [Less]

Lightweight replacement for autotools

mk-configure is a lightweight easy for use replacement for GNU autotools, written in bmake (portable version of NetBSD make) and POSIX tools (shell, awk etc.).

GNU Accounting Utilities

The GNU Accounting Utilities provide BSD-style login and command execution accounting for GNU/Linux systems.

kmod

Library and programs to manage Linux Kernel Modules. This project consists of a library (libkmod) that does the same work as traditional module-init-tools (m-i-t) but is easily usable by other programs that may need to check or load kernel modules, such as udev, systemd, iptables, ... quagmire

quagmire is intended to replace automake and libtool. Unlike these tools it requires GNU make and is written solely using GNU make features -- no preprocessing is required. Eventually we hope to migrate some autoconf functionality into quagmire as well.
